The Philosophy Behind EdTentionality

My inspiriation for starting this blog came from my work as an educator over the last 25 years and as a doctoral student over the last three. Being an educator, just like being a parent, is both incredibly rewarding and  challenging, sometimes in the same moment. If you are doing your job well, you are probably constantly searching for ways to be better, to reach more young people and to make a real difference in their lives.

With this blog, I hope to offer readers the chance to learn about what practioners and researchers have found to be the most effective techniques and strategies when guiding young people. The best practioners, regardless of one's field, are usually those who can strike the delicate balance between artistry and science, between intuition and intentional courses of action. 

My hope is that EdTentionality will become your favorite platform to find inspiration, wisdom, and/or practical advice that will help you to become intentional in your craft and your life.
